Bahouki Irish Music

Bahouki are a three-piece Celtic folk group based in Hong Kong. They have been together for more than six years, performing extensively in Irish Bars around South-East Asia.

In 1996 Olie and Dave answered an advertisement on national Irish radio for a fiddler and accordionist to come from Ireland to play in Delaneys in Thailand.

From there they came to Hong Kong and met singer/songwriter, John Hutton, who was playing occasionally in the Hong Kong branch while pursuing his career as a drunk.

The 3 musicians formed Bahouki and have been a formidable force in Irish music, growing in repetoire and delivery.
